Register for a tournament

Sign up below for an upcoming Wednesday tournament at Lewis Recreation Center. Registering ahead helps us set the pairings before the first round, so play starts on time.

How it works

  1. Check the date. Rated blitz falls on the first and second Wednesday of the month, rated quick on the third. See the events calendar.
  2. Make sure your US Chess membership is current. Rated play requires one. Join or renew.
  3. Fill in the form below. One entry per player.
  4. Pay $10 at the door, cash or check, on the night. Arrive by 6:45 pm so we can pair the first round on time.

Before you come

  • Doors open at 6:30 pm; the tournament starts at 7:00 pm
  • Bring nothing: sets and clocks are provided
  • Players of every rating are welcome
  • Under 18s need a parent to stay for the evening
  • Not ready for rated play? Casual games run alongside, no membership needed
